Wow...

I can't believe it's been an entire month since I last posted! I'll have to get better about that. It's like the babies are so exciting and growing so quickly that I've just forgotten all about getting videos. (We spend a lot of time playing and cuddling when I have the little booger butts out of their cages.)

I've also spent some time with my mum and sister, along with my new nephews... One is my sister's partner's son and lives with them half the time or so. And then there's the new baby... He'll be 3 months old on Easter, and I am absolutely in love with the little guy. ^.^ I wouldn't trade anything in the world for when he looks up at me and laughs out loud or nuzzles sleepily into my chest after he's finished a bottle and needs a nap. *happy sigh* Of course, hanging out with the baby and his brother is just making me want even more to be able to start a family. So we best get on taking care of all that debt we have and quitting smoking, so AJ and I can get started on that!

Anyway, I just wanted to give a quick update for now. I'll try to get some more video and pics of the cuties (human AND rat) to post up here soon. I also have a heap of reviews to write after getting my second Out of the Box Sampler in as many months. It's been a real treat to get boxes in the mail stuffed full of luxurious candles, tarts (LOTS of tarts! ^.^), edible goodies, body products and more. Sometime in the next day or two, I'll get those reviews up for you. Perhaps, then, May's sampler (or handmade goodies from some of the contributors) will show up in YOUR mailbox soon and make you smile as well.

I brought home the new baby rats today, and they are just the most adorable little critters ever. I've already had the chance to snuggle with and be groomed by almost all of them. ^.^

The broad focus of this blog is things that make me smile; I hope that they will make you grin, as well. -.^ One of the biggest things that makes me super happy is pet rats. I used to have two of the little cuties, Missy and Tara. Missy came first and has always been a biter. Sadly, she's now a lone rat. We do love her very much; we just wish she was cuddly. Here's a quick video I shot of Missy a couple of weeks ago.



The big excitement in our house right now is that we're getting new babies in a few days! *HUGE grin* There are five of them, three boys and two girls. They're caramel-colored dumbo rats and I simply cannot wait to meet them. Once we bring them home, I'll be shooting lots of pics and videos of playtime and naptime, and posting them here.
